Tutorial: Tracking Compliance & Sync Status

How to review service-day reporting compliance and monitor the UI sync signal

This tutorial is a click-through tour of the compliance surfaces. The Compliance guide owns the current service-day denominator and reporting rules; this page keeps only the steps needed to find and read the UI.

Time to complete: 5 minutes

Step 1: Open the Compliance Dashboard

  1. Navigate to Review → Compliance (or /admin/compliance).
  2. Select an authorized location in the top switcher.
  3. Review the current service-day completion status and the rows requiring attention.

Staff reporting obligations are measured at the service-day grain. For the canonical denominator and how published Daily Line-Up assignments create obligations, see ADR-0070.

Step 2: Review the reporting period

  1. Choose the date or reporting period available in the dashboard.
  2. Confirm the active location scope before comparing completion rates.
  3. Use the Compliance guide for score definitions, service-day semantics, and certification behavior. Do not recreate the denominator from schedule rows.

Step 3: Handle unfiled reports

  1. Open the employee row in the Compliance table.
  2. Review the displayed status and available contact or reminder action.
  3. If the action fails, record the location, service date, displayed error, and correlation ID when available. Do not copy private contact data into a ticket.

Step 4: Check the UI freshness signal

  1. Look at the Data Freshness Banner on the Schedule or Goals page.
  2. Read its tone and source details before making labor decisions.
  3. If it reports a persistent problem, capture the displayed source, time, and error code and escalate through the normal support path.

The freshness banner is a UI-specific signal. Its display thresholds are not an Analytics MCP contract; MCP consumers must follow the MCP Freshness Runbook and the canonical Health v2 fields.
