Daily Line-Up Setup

Use a daypart panel inside the Service Day Workspace

Overview

The Daily Line-Up is a contextual daypart view inside the canonical /lineup Service Day Workspace. Use Service Day Setup for the complete manager workflow across a location and service date; this page keeps only the daypart-specific entry points.

Edit a daypart

  1. Open Service Day → Line-Up (/lineup) and confirm the location and service date.
  2. Choose the Lunch, Dinner, or Late Night panel for the daypart you are editing.
  3. Use the contextual controls to review the roster, goals, closer, briefing items, and optional notes.
  4. Save a draft while work is in progress, or publish when the daypart is ready for staff.

Draft saves do not notify staff or create service-day obligations. Publishing uses the canonical lineup publish action and its side effects; see the Lineup Cards feature contract.

After publish

Published cards are visible to assigned staff on /lineup. Staff review and acknowledge their cards. Publishing may seed one staff report obligation per service day, materialize configured tasks, record the closer, and enqueue configured notifications; exact lifecycle and authorization rules belong to the feature contract.
